The Deacons lead in the five core areas of ministry: Caring, Communications, Education, Evangelism and Worship. We are passionate about serving Christ through the church and the community. Caring Ministry

Carol leads the Caring ministry which aims to warmly welcome newcomers and members from all walks of life into our community at 3Stone. She oversees the congregation’s ushering and hospitality teams, prayer meetings and holiday events. The team arranges monthly large group lunches and coffee/tea service with the goal of fellowship and building connections with each other. Carol works as a project manager in large banks and lives in Brooklyn with her family. While not working, she enjoys pilates, bike riding and watching random movies on streaming services. If you are interested in learning more about the caring ministry and how you can be involved, Carol is happy to chat with you!

Communications Ministry

Drew leads the Communications ministry which is responsible for highlighting all the things we are doing at 3Stone. Internal/external communications as well as social media and photography are part of his realm. He seeks to bridge communities, and multigenerational gaps as well as highlight happenings in and around 3stone. You will see his photography all around 3stone and he is very interested in providing instruction for the next generation of budding photographers.

Education Ministry

Melody Leung is the head of the Education Ministry at 3Stone, which is a part of NYCAC. Her main goal is to help the church cultivate a closer relationship with God through the Word. She accomplishes this by collaborating with all the fellowships, regional small groups, large groups, Sunday School classes, workshops, and retreats. As a stay-at-home mom, Melody is grateful for the opportunity to serve the church during her free time. If you're interested in deepening your understanding of God and strengthening your relationship with Him, Melody is enthusiastic about assisting you.

WORSHIP MINISTRY

Jireh leads the Worship Ministry at 3Stone which includes fostering a Christian walk that is closely tied to purposeful worship of our Lord.  This can be in the form of song, but should be prevalent in our daily life, through and in every action we undertake.  If you have any questions about what Christian worship is and what it is not, please do not hesitate in reaching out to him.  Professionally, he is a software designer at Atlassian.  

Evangelism Ministry

Isabel leads the Evangelism Ministry at 3Stone where she coordinates outreaches, partnerships and mission efforts both domestic and abroad.

Isabel lives in Brooklyn, but actually hails from Venezuela. Isabel has a heart for children and nurturing them. “Back in my country, I always had the calling to evangelize, but I never thought of doing it outside the comforts of my country (Venezuela), as I am not one who travels frequently. God has a plan to use me here at 3stone to bring his love to other nations. I feel that God led me here, and will use me despite all the challenges.”
