Reminders for This Sunday

  • Joint Worship Service begins at 10:00 AM.

  • The Annual Meeting will take place shortly after Worship Service is over. Members are asked to attend so that quorum can be achieved.

  • Sunday Regional Small Group and Adult Sunday School will be cancelled this Sunday for the annual meeting.

  • Children's Sunday School will be taught as a large group so that teachers can attend the Annual Meeting.

  • After the Annual meeting, there will be a 3Stone members meeting to elect the Nominating Committee for the 3 Diaconate positions that are open.

October Large Group Event | Saturday, October 8

This month's large group will be a Hike at Croton Gorge Park in Upstate New York on Saturday, October 8 at 10:30 AM. Please contact Timmy Yee and the Large group committee members for more details.

Upcoming Baptism & Membership Transfer | Sunday, October 23

Please pray for those who are preparing for the upcoming Baptism & Membership Transfer. There are four brothers and sisters considering at this time.

Thursday Night Basketball | 6:30PM to 9:30PM

Weekly basketball has resumed at PS 124 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. It is open to all with a priority for NYCAC/3Stone members. You can contact Michael Tsang or Henry Kan for more information.

Governing Board | Open Positions for 2023

In the upcoming Annual Meeting, we will need to vote in new Governing Board members for the Extensions, 3Stone at Large, and Chinese at Large positions for 2023. We want to take this opportunity to truly thank those that have faithfully served in those positions for the past few years (Tony Mei | Extensions, Michael Tsang | 3Stone at Large, and Ada Lee | Chinese at Large).

The candidates for these positions are as follows. Please pray for each of the candidates and the upcoming elections.

3Stone Diaconate | Open Positions for 2023

After the upcoming Annual Meeting, 3Stone will need to elect a Nominating Committee to nominate candidates for three Diaconate Positions: Education, Evangelism, and Worship. The vote for the nominating committee will take place after the Annual Meeting.

While the nomination committee will select a single candidate for each position, Members can also nominate additional candidates (with the candidates consent). Unlike for GB floor nominations, only 5 signatures from other Active Members are required. This must be submitted along with a brief summary of the proposed candidate to Reverend Stephen Ko or Reverend Cristobal Tong. Before the candidate is approved and added to the vote, verification of eligibility will be conducted by church leadership according to Article X of the bylaws.
