Love is Here || Tub & Gao-Jai Yang || Missionary Update

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us" —John 1:14

During the Christmas season, we celebrate the arrival of Emmanuel, our God who chose to be with us as the ultimate expression of His uncontainable love. A love that demands to be present. A love that must be “with.”

This Christmas, the U.S. Alliance family will come together to extend Emmanuel’s presence among the world’s overlooked, oppressed, and displaced. We want them to experience His loving embrace amid their suffering and uncertainty. Love is the motivation of this presence. It was God’s love that established His presence among us and fuels our motivation to extend His presence among those who have yet to experience His love. Will you send a special gift this Christmas so that your Alliance workers can proclaim Love Is Here to those who have not yet heard the good news of great joy?

Family Update

We did it!!! We finished our 3-month intensive language school program and took the government language exam in Bangkok this past Saturday.  Thank you to all of those who joined us in prayer for this HUGE event.  We will not be receiving our results until mid-January.

In November, we had 2 birthdays!  Gaojoua turned 11 and Xuying turned 15.

On the day of the government exam

Xuying and his team took first place in a local basketball tournament.

One way we practice speaking Thai is with friends through playing games

We were also able to practice sharing our testimony in Thai with a friend from church.

Rosie and Olivia from the C&MA Video team came to do a follow up video! We were so blessed with their presence and friendship.

Praises and Prayer Requests

  • Praise God we did well in our 1-year evaluation in September and wrapped up our 6th grade government language proficiency test.

  • Continue to pray for our language and culture acquisition - we are entering into year 2 of language which includes: Studying the Thai Bible, Teaching lessons in Thai at church, and Deeper understandings of Buddhism in a Thai context.

  • Pray for Gaojoua. She has been having difficulty sleeping through the night. Please lift her up in prayer that she can get a good night's rest.

  • Pray for Chuseng as he has been more emotional. He often thinks of his family and friends back in the US.

  • Pray for Xuying as he has been excited to lead a Bible study group at school and is interested in playing guitar.

  • Pray for us as we begin to see where God will use us after our 2 years of language.

  • Pray for the local church here in Udon as we prepare for our Christmas outreach event.

  • We would love to have more workers on the field. There are a few ministry opportunities that are posted on https://cmalliance.org/serve/. Will you please take a moment and pray for new workers who have a heart for serving God and the people of Thailand?
